Love the energy this guy brings, but would you really vote for him? And no, apparently he doesn't LIVE IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!
Clearly this guy has a passion for what he does, and I think that's awesome because it seems so few politicians today have that. But he might go a little overboard. Just a little. Maybe he falls under the "stupid politicians" Zombie Jesus wrote about.
What more can you even say about this video? This guy puts Howard Dean to shame.
To keep it short and sweet, I'll give a bulleted recap:
- You have a Masters Degree in Communication? From what school? I think those communication skills need to be worked on a little more. Apparently you haven't mastered them yet (see tag for Cooper pun at the bottom)
- Love the fact that he won't apologize for his tone. Don't give a shit what you're voters think or anything like that.
- He claims he's been a Republican in both the good and bad times. Well, this is definitely one of those bad times.
- After messing up his favorite quote, he finally delivers, "In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity." After this difficult speech, there is definitely opportunity for another candidate to take the nomination.
- His campaign motto - "I'm gonna hit the ground running, come out swinging, and end up winning." Are you running for office or getting ready for Wrestlemania?
- When someone answers his rhetorical question about drastic times, he gets pumped and then asks who answered him. That person then must have shit their pants.
- Finally, he wants people to know about his campaign, so he says, "Tell your friends, tell your neighbors." I guess this is also a good time to hide yo kids, hide yo wife.
For those of you who love Braveheart, this is awesome.
