CooperMusic: Coheed and Cambria

Well thanks to a certain Boston based shave care company that will not be named not picking up my contract extension, some people might say that I have been in a worse mood than usual.

I know what you're thinking, "but Cooper, who doesn't want to pick up the 12 week, $21 an hour option on one of the best young analytical chemists in the league?" Stupid British people. Thats who.

I also know what you're really thinking, "but Cooper, you're always in such a great mood, you can't let this be the thing that get you down!" And that's where music comes in.

So i've been pretty conservative about my music choices lately, staying on the more synthesized side of things. But just like the Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde, there's some times you just want to put your neck in a brace and rock the fuck out. Oh yes. Throw those horns \m/ (RIP Ronnie James DIO).

Now, many of you have played the fantastic video game Rock Band. And buried towards the harder end of the spectrum was a song called "Welcome Home" by Coheed and Cambria. Welcome home? Isn't that the subtext to "Sanitarium" by Metallica?

Ok I'm rambling too much. This song is pretty much the distilled essence of breaking things. From the rhythm guitar riff to the constant pinch harmonic squeals, lets just break some stuff.

Also this is the vocalist/guitarist. Winning.
